Hiren Shah, CFO

Hiren Shah is an experienced finance professional with an undergraduate degree in Commerce from Narsee Monjee College in Mumbai, India and has graduated as a Chartered Account from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. His first foray into the diamond industry was at the turn of the millennium as an integral part of the Finance Team for a publicly listed company in India. He went on to become Head of the Finance Division at another leading publicly listed diamond company in India with responsibilities across their international operations. The Choron Group recruited Hiren as CFO to oversee the finance department in each region and manage the financing relationships within the Group. His involvement led to many improvements across the board and he is responsible for the implementation of systems to improve the data and reporting available to management and stakeholders in real time. He works diligently to ensure that the financial operations of the Group continue to develop and grow in line with international standards and frameworks.
